Retro computing with iPad

If you are feeling a little nostalgic about old computers, here are two great free apps for your iPad to try – Hand Basic CBM Flavor and iAltair.

Hand BASIC CBM Flavor is a Commodore 64 BASIC emulator.It is compatible with Commodore 64 BASIC V2, and it allows you to load and save files with your BASIC programs.It has full featured text editor to use for writing code, which offers option for line renumbering among other things. App also provides help functionality, which is accessed by typing HELP. Get Hand BASIC CBM Flavor here.

iAltair is MITS Altair 8800 emulator for your iPad. It offers CP/M 2, CP/M3 and CP/M86 as a choice of operating systems. Unfortunately you can not write or add any new code or programs, so you can only run and use software that is included with the emulator. Get iAltair here.
